II. ROACHES
The recipe calls for one glass of powdered sugar and one glass of baking soda, which you should combine in a basin. Spoon the mixture into individual cups and set them aside in the kitchen or another warm, damp environment. Sugar attracts cockroaches, but baking soda kills them after they’ve swallowed it.
Diatomaceous earth: This all-natural pesticide is made from diatoms. Put it in plates and set them in places where cockroaches congregate. A little sugar sprinkled on top will entice them.
Slice the cucumber and place portions on each plates. Actually, this veggie works well as a pest deterrent.
Prepare a solution of boric acid by combining one tablespoon with one tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk. Make a leg out of the dough and cut it into cups; these will be the cockroach entrances. After three weeks, or sooner if required, repeat the process to kill off the next generation of insects.
A few drops of lemon eucalyptus essential oil over some newspaper can kill cockroaches, especially if the infestation is just starting. Put them in areas where cockroaches can get to them.
Five to ten drops of fine lavender essential oil on little bits of cotton: that’s all. Put some in each and every cabinet and remember to reapply daily.
To get rid of cockroaches, spray white vinegar on the floor, beneath furniture, under the sink, and any other areas they may be hiding. They swiftly flee from the odor.
