Instructions

 

Pudding

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. In a blender, mix the milk, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.

  3. Layer the sliced bread in the baking dish. Pour half of the milk mixture over the bread and let it soak.

  4. Add the remaining milk mixture, pressing the bread down gently to absorb.

  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until set and golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.

Caramel Sauce

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until light amber.

  2. Carefully add the water while stirring constantly.

  3. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, then let it cool a bit.

Serving

  • Pierce the top of the pudding with a fork and drizzle caramel sauce over it.

  • Serve warm or cold, optionally topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
