Chicken calzone parmesan

Ingredients (makes 4 calzones)
For the pizza dough (or use store-bought pizza dough):
500g all-purpose flour
1 sachet dried yeast (7g)
300ml warm water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
For the topping:
2 chicken whites, cooked and chopped into small pieces
150ml tomato sauce or marinara
150g grated mozzarella
50g grated parmesan
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten (for golden eggs)
To serve (optional):
Extra marinara sauce for dipping
Chopped fresh herbs (basil or parsley)

Instructions:
To make the pizza dough:
Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
Add water and oil: Pour hot water and olive oil into the dry mixture. Mix well until dough forms.
Knead the dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and let rise for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Let rise: Place the batter in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with clean parchment and let rise for about 1-1:30 in a warm place, until doubled in size.
Make the filling:
Season the chicken: In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with garlic, oregano, salt and pepper.
Make the cheese mixture: Mix the mozzarella and grated parmesan in a bowl.
Add tomato sauce: Spread a little tomato sauce over the seasoned chicken strips, reserving some sauce to garnish the inside of the calzones

Assemble the calzones:
Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a sheet of parchment paper.
Divide the dough: Once the dough has risen, divide it into four equal portions.
Roll out each portion: Spread each portion of dough into a circle about 20cm in diameter on a lightly floured surface.
Top the calzones: On half of each dough circle, add a little tomato sauce, a slice of chicken mixture and a generous amount of cheese.
Seal the calzones: Fold the batter over the topping to form a semi-circle. Seal the edges with a fork.
Egg Dip: Dip the tops of the calzones in beaten egg to give them a nice golden color while baking.

Cooking Calzones:
