Whole lemons

Ideal for people who add lemons to their culinary preparations, this method allows you to incorporate the whole citrus fruit later or grate the zest.

To freeze whole lemons, place them in a tightly sealed freezer bag. Then place the bag in the freezer.

Lemon juice and zest separated

To freeze lemon juice, squeeze the citrus fruits and keep the zest aside. Put the juices obtained in small ice cube molds which you will place in a freezer bag. Then, grate the lemon skin and put the zest in a bag that you seal airtight before placing it in the freezer.

To keep lemons whole but without the zest, start by grating the skin of the fruit. Then, put the zest in a tightly closed box and store it in the freezer. Carry out the same operation to freeze the lemons.
