Meanwhile, brown the small chopped onion and 2 crushed garlic cloves in the oil. Fry them until they start to turn golden;
To the sautéed ingredients above, add the processed or sifted tomatoes;
Add a pinch of cumin;
Bring the ingredients to low heat and cook for about 15 minutes;
When the ingredients have the consistency of a sauce, add salt to taste and a few basil leaves to give a special touch to the flavor.
