INGREDIENTS
4 turkey wings

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 ounces mushrooms, sliced

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups chicken broth

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Season the turkey wings with salt and pepper.

In a large oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the turkey wings to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the turkey wings from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they begin to release their moisture and become tender, about 5 minutes.

Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir well to coat. Cook for an additional minute to cook off the raw flour taste.

Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Continue stirring until the gravy thickens, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the dried thyme, salt, and pepper to the gravy. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.

Return the turkey wings to the skillet, nestling them into the gravy.

Cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil and transfer it to the preheated oven.

Bake for about 2 hours, or until the turkey wings are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bones.

Remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Serve the turkey wings with the mushroom gravy spooned over the top.

Enjoy the succulent and flavorful Turkey Wings with Mushroom Gravy alongside your favorite side dishes like mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or rice. This comforting meal is sure to satisfy your taste buds and leave you wanting more.
